Wedding neon sign, and so it begins, rustic hay-bells and exposed brick

And so it begins...

Nick and Sathya had THE most epic alternative fusion wedding. Traditional Malaysian drummers, the Sussex countryside, colourful flowers, a vintage red mini cooper, Moroccan rugs and neon signs! Patricks Barn in Chiddinglye, Sussex is a blank canvass event space turned working cow shed. The corrugated metal, hay bell seating and wood chip floors make it the perfect venue for an industrial, rustic wedding for creative couples to put their stamp on!

The British weather was as indecisive as ever - with a downpour of rain one minute and beaming sunshine the next, so we were super happy that we managed to capture a quick couple shoot at golden hour (our favourite time of day!) before the rain returned.

Nick and Sathya transformed Patricks Barn into their dream wedding venue with long tables, festoon lights and lots of personal, DIY touches. The simple table styling made was made up of colourful wild flowers, ivy foliage table runners and table numbers with the photos of the couple through different childhood ages.

Sathya made a stunning bride in a gorgeous boho, long sleeved dress, loose curls, natural make-up and a beautiful pink rose bouquet. When the sun set, Sathya rocked a leather jacket which fitted in perfectly with the alternative wedding vibe! Nick made a handsome, alternative groom in a navy tweed jacket, beige chino style trousers and a floral print dickie bow tie! The whole day was super fun and relaxed from start to finish. A colourful, quirky and totally unique wedding for a lovely couple which was a joy to capture.
