We love when a couple get in touch telling us they have some amazing things lined up for their wedding and Jemma & Nick were definitely one of these couples! From start to finish their day was jam packed with so many exciting events to capture for their wedding film!
They started their day split between their home and Jemma's parents house (super conveniently for us right next door to each other!) Nick's heritage is Greek-South African so his many groomsmen, friends and family joined him in the morning for a traditional dressing ceremony and lots of dancing, a theme that continued throughout the day! 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
The couple travelled in style in the Savoy Hotel's private Rolls Royce Phantom for their individual journeys to the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nektarios in Battersea where they had a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony with all their friends and family. It's so awesome to learn about all the different traditions and ceremonies from different cultures and religions that we've been lucky enough to film over the years and this was no exception.
Their guests had the true London experience, travelling in a convoy of three double decker red London buses seeing sights such as the London eye, Big ben and arriving on the world famous The Strand! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Arriving up to through the grand entrance of the Savoy Hotel their guests were all welcomed with an amazing tree centrepiece, delicious canapés and a fantastic magician during the drinks reception before entering into the stunningly decorated Lancaster Ballroom for their wedding breakfast where an incredible choir surprised guests.
Following some fantastic speeches and the couple's lovely first dance the greek dancing went into full swing!
With every guest getting involved it was an amazing sea of partying 🕺💃🎉 Made all the greater by the traditional whisky dancing and plate smashing! It was great to film in slow motion and worked so well in their wedding film and definitely kept us on our toes with all the plates whizzing past our heads!
